The next Science of Aphasia Conference will take place in Bordeaux (F) from September 22 to 25, 2026. A preliminary program is available on the SoA website (https://soaphasia.com/soa-2026-bordeaux ).
We are pleased to announce that a new session format will be introduced at SoA 2026 in the form of 2 Symposia. Each symposium will last 1h15 and should consist of a 10-minute introduction, three 15-minute presentations, and a 20-minute discussion chaired by the organizers.
Symposia can be submitted to the SoA board on any topic relevant to science of aphasia via [the SoA submission platform https://soaphasia.com/abstract-submission by the 30 of March 2026.
To submit a symposium you must be able to gather 3-4 persons who will be able to present on the same topic in a coherent or challenging way. Symposium proposals should be submitted by the coordinator of the symposia in a UNIQUE DOCUMENT (see attached template) and include a short Introduction to the Topic and the way it will be addressed, followed by a structured abstract for each contribution.
